On october 2nd, 3rd and 4th Riva del Garda will host Italian BlogFest’s second edition: an event that will bring in one place, for the first time, everything happens on the Net in Europe and Italy, with special regard to blogs, social networking and communities: something that has never been realized in Italy.
In these three days Riva del Garda will provide its spaces, streets and lake to the BlogFest’s events: conferences, debates, installations, performances, concerts, awards, games and any other type of event suggested by the Net.
- Two major conferences, broadcasted on the web, with the participation of the most known personalities of journalism and blogosphere.
- The “Twitterence” a conference or “anti-boredom” in which interventions should be contained within the limit of 140 words (with a meter on stage) and to which users of Twitter on the ground and on the network can act as protagonists, seeing their considerations projected in real time behind the guests.
- Three different self-managed “BarCamps” every day, with sessions of 15 minutes each. Subjects covered, among other things: food, photography, tourism, literature.
- A supervised kindergarten led by experts: this year BlogFest will host a special event for children.
- Night events through the streets of the city: the Italian Blog Awards 2009, concerts, live radio, games and dj-set.
- Riva del Garda will be completely wi-fied thanks thanks to “Project L.U.N.A” which will enable anyone to connect or talk in real time about the event, sharing photos and video of the most significant moments of BlogFest.
- Participants can book their stay through the enterprise Azienda per il Turismo Ingarda Trentino Spa which will accommodate every need, at rates.
BlogFest 2009: a party, a bloggers’ spring break, a festival, pure fun.
